Look Ahead for 2005

Well, here we are in the year 2005. It sounds like a nice year, doesn't it? Just say it. "2005." Just sounds cool, I guess.

But maybe I'm talking crazy. Maybe I'm just thinking about all the amazing stuff that was supposed to happen by now. George Orwell had predicted his future-era to settle in place by 1984. Boy, was he wrong. It's now been over 20 years since and we're still nowhere near reaching any semblance of the future that we had envisioned. But if the future is indeed Orwellian, then it's a good thing that we aren't quite there, isn't it?

Anyway, I hope you all had some fun ringing in the new year. Who's got big plans for these next 12 months? I've got a few schemes up my sleeve... But we'll get to that later. It's nothing like those two in the picture though.
