Call It What You Want

I don't know how they did it, but L.A. Symphony has just released the unreleasable album: The one to which Warner Bros. Records holds the rights and refuses to let go. The one that features production by Prince Paul and Mario C. (Beastie Boys) and will.i.am (Black Eyed Peas). The one that has that really dope (but strange) single "Broken Tape Decks" that got mad radio airplay four years ago. The one that you thought would never come out. Did L.A. Symph scrounge up enough money to buy back their album outright? They're not sayin' yet.

All that we fans should care about right now is that Call It What You Want is now available for sale exclusively on the L.A. Symph website. Well actually, it's now officially called C.I.W.Y.W. which is a humorous nod to the proper title but also a change that raises the question of this release's legitimacy. What's goin' on? Did someone obtain the original master from WBR through furtive means? Who knows? I've got no answers right now! But you know I've already placed my order for the album. Word.
